My husband and I have been coming here almost every weekend, for breakfast or lunch, for years. We have never had a bad meal. Everything is homemade and so, so delicious. The list of favorites is so long: any eggs, American fries, sausage gravy, all the omelettes, anything Greek, beef sliders, chicken lemon rice soup and so much more. It’s family owned and the family is wonderful and so friendly. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

Gerond had spent years perfecting his craft at Howell Coney, balancing plates of chili cheese fries and gyros with a practiced grace. But nothing had prepared him for the day Brody walked in—tall, confident, and with a smile that could melt an ice cream sundae. Every day, Brody ordered the same thing: a double bacon cheeseburger, no pickles, extra fries. And every day, Gerond made sure it was cooked just right, hoping that maybe, just maybe, Brody would notice him. Finally, after weeks of stolen glances and nervous small talk, Gerond gathered his courage and asked Brody out, his heart pounding like a drum against his chest. But Brody only sighed, setting down his milkshake with a shake of his head. "Look, Gerond, you're a nice guy," he said, his voice almost apologetic. "But I just... I need someone with, you know, abs. And maybe, like, a little better food." Gerond felt his heart sink, the rejection hitting him harder than a dropped tray of plates. As Brody walked out the door, Gerond stood frozen, staring at the faded linoleum floor. Maybe his cooking wasn’t Michelin-starred, and maybe his stomach wasn’t sculpted, but one day, he promised himself, someone would love him for who he was—soft edges, diner grease, and all.

An Experience I'll Never Forget (Unfortunately)I walked into this fine establishment expecting a simple meal, but what I got was a rollercoaster of emotions and possibly food poisoning (jury’s still out).First off I asked for a water with lemon, and Arber my server, looked me dead in the eyes and said, “We only have Lemonade." What does that even mean??Then I ordered a coney dog, and it arrived with a single, lone fry on top almost like a garnish, but more like a sad afterthought. Was this a sign? A message? I’ll never know.Arber also tried to upsell me on “extra napkins” like I was making some kind of rookie mistake. Listen buddy I know how messy chili cheese fries are I live this life.Service was questionable but entertaining Arber disappeared for 20 minutes mid-shift, only to return with a mysterious sense of accomplishment. When I asked him where he went, he just winked and said, “Don’t worry about it.”Despite all this, the food was actually peak, and I’ll be back but next time, I’m bringing a lawyer and a detective to get to the bottom of whatever Arber’s got going on.Highly recommend.

I recently visited Howell MI from Canada and this restaurant was recommended to me. Perfect service and everyone there is a nice. I liked the two big boys that were working there, they’re very kind.

Absolutely delicious. Lightest omelette I’ve ever had.Filled with corned beef , onions and green pepper. Side of perfectly cooked hash browns and rye toast.Impeccable service. Owner is delightful! If I lived here I wouldn’t go Anywhere else. Coffee excellent too!

It is an extremely simple and peaceful place! I’ve been here many times always getting a Farmer’s Skillet. Brutally good food and excellent service! My only concern is if I tip enough since I did used to work fast food and they clearly put effort in their work.
